The Belly!

We are getting closer and closer....down to the last 4 weeks, actually.  And if this girlie decided to make her appearance as early and as unexpectedly as Ezra did at 17 days before the due date, she would be here next week.  We're ready (and maybe hoping) for anything.  Although timing is critical this time around because 3 days before she's due, I am supposed to be in a best friend's wedding.  I've long since been resigned to the fact that I'll either be exploding or looking like I just gave birth in my cutesy-tootsey bridesmaid dress.  At least it's stretchy!  And Kira will be so stunning that no one will be looking at me anyway.

According to Andrew's 'I just woke up' observation this morning, I looked like an old man with a big beer belly.  I don't think he meant it, although thanks to the oversized and less than form fitting T-shirt I borrowed from him, it was probably true.  This never-ending rain is wearing on my wardrobe.  I only have so many long sleeve prego shirts, and they cycle through at least twice a week.  I have plenty of tank tops, but the weather just won't cooperate!

Thanks to our sweet friend Cassie, we have some cute non-old-man-ish photos of the baby belly.

The idea was to get a shot of Ezra kissing my stomach, but just like the weather, sometimes cooperation is too much to ask.  The second shot is the closest we got.  

Of course, the next day, he came to me unprompted and kissed the belly.  Go figure. 

All of my checkups have been great; I'm practicing squats and breathing and giving Drew plenty of back rub practice.  Please pray for a smooth delivery and healthy everybody!
