Ummm....my little sis Ange created a sort of family update page today, and I decided it was a great idea. Especially for all of our family in the midwest who anxiously await the arrival of a much cuter Ashby who is just 2 mo. and 9 days away.
This year, after missing the Christmas letter boat, we decided to send a Valentine's Day letter to give everyone a glimpse into our adventurous life. Well, I wrote the letter. It's still here in our computer actually. But it never made it to the printing press nor the pony express. Sorry!
Mostly our Valentine's letter announced our move to Salt Lake City and discussed details of Andrew's new job. It also mentioned our baby boy before we knew he was a he. By now, everyone we know has surely spoken with our moms and discovered the change that is just around the corner. We are very excited and blessed and anxious and curious and happy about the change. I (Melinda, the spokesperson) have been feeling great throughout the entire pregnancy and just started to notice how slow I'm getting these days. I decided last weekend to retire from ultimate frisbee for a while when I couldn't catch up to anyone.....even the slow people.
My worst pregnancy symptoms (aside from running out of room for all of the organs in my midsection) involve my brain. I can't remember ANYTHING and I drop EVERYTHING--you know, giant sized drinks at the movies, open bags of uncooked rice... But I actually prefer it to puking my guts out.
We have a name picked out, too! And we aren't telling anyone. :) If you think you have a better idea, we'll consider a poll, but we have ultimate veto power.
